Summer Clean Up 2007 Kick Off

June 30, 2007 marked the first day of Bring Back the Woods 2007. A clean up was scheduled for the Cedar Avenue side of the park. Volunteers worked together to clean the trash in the park, plant flowers around the sign and prepare the grounds for future project. The group’s founder made contacts with a variety of people. Everyone in the community who was approached felt a strong need for improvement in the park. The feedback received from the community was invaluable; expects only great things this summer from Friends of the Woods.  This is one of many events during happen for our Bring Back the Woods campaign. The next event will take place on July 28, 2007.
