Friends of the Woods is a 501(c)3 organization via the sponsorship of City Parks Foundation. All money donated to our group is fully tax deductible and will be applied directly to the program/ restoration project of your choice. 

Individuals Gift

Personal contributions can be made at any level.  Their are two ways for you to donate:

Include with the donation the following information:

a)      the exact purpose for which the donation is to be used, i.e. general support, a specific project, etc.

 

b)      a project completion date (when you would like the funds to be used by); and

 

c)      that the funds are freely given by the donor, and intended as a donation.

Recurring Gifts

An easy way to increase the impact of your support for Friends of the Woods is to establish a monthly recurring gift. Join our faithful supporters who demonstrate their commitment to University Woods year-round with regular, ongoing gifts via an electronic charge to your credit, debit card or electronic check. Every gift to Friends of the Woods is a testament to the caring and unselfish spirit of our sponsors and friends.

Gifts to Friends of the Woods are tax deductible to the full extent of the Internal Revenue Code.

In-Kind Donations

Donations of goods and services can be extremely valuable to service and volunteer programs. This type of charitable donation can be made by individuals or organizations and ranges anywhere from an plants, to food, printer paper, gardening supplies, meeting spaces, or consulting services.
